Norfolk, Va. - Max Barron Jr., Machinist's Mate Fireman, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. M..J. (wrong) Barron of 1263 Austin Ave., Georgetown, Texas has been honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy at the U.S. Naval Receiving Station, Norfolk, Virginia.
The Norfolk Receiving Station, commanded by Captain John Harlee, USN, processes approximately 8,000 men a month on the way to and from Naval Activities all over the world.
Paul Alex Barron was born in Massachusetts.

Paul's maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Engelbrecht and great-grandmother is O.A. Engelbrecht.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. M.T. Barron, Sr. and great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barron, all of Georgetown.
